I took another batch of baby blankets to my friend for delivery to the hospital. I hope they enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed making them.
I just finished up a batch of quilts for babies and a few crochet afghans. I have a friend whose sister is a nurse. These goodies will go to her to share with some Mamas that need a little something special for their babies.
Here is one quilt that I just finished for a young lady graduating from college. She attends my church and our small quilting group loves to bless the graduates for their hard work. I just love the Yellow Brick Road pattern even in pinks.
I love plaids. I have been collecting them for years. But, this is the year to start using what I have and stop collecting! This is my first attempt to “practice what I preach” so I dove into my plaid stash and whipped out my Accuiquilt Go cutter and created this quilt for a man from my church that is recovering from surgery. Hopefully he will feel comforted while he is on the road to recovery.
This is my very first post. I wanted a place to share my love of quilting with my friends and family. I hope you enjoy it.
